The Black Women's Union (BWU) is a student organization whose mission is to establish community among Black women and non-binary students at Duke and to provide opportunities for personal and professional development.

BWU is committed to promoting excellence, inclusivity, and accountability through networking, mentorship, dialogue, and service. With these values, we strive to be a catalyst for individual growth, thus fostering a more enriched community of Black
students at Duke.
