Details

Each year during the month of Ramadan, the Center for Muslim Life (CML) hosts nightly iftars from Monday to Thursday, collaborating with Duke Dining to provide delicious halal meals that create a warm and inclusive atmosphere. The evening begins with Maghrib prayer and then the the meal itself. Later that evening, a spiritual reflection is offered by a guest speaker and Isha and Taraweeh prayers immediately follow. This program blends the spiritual and social needs of Muslim students and the campus community, creating meaningful opportunities for worship, learning, and connection during this sacred time.

Objectives:
1. Provide a supportive and spiritually enriching environment for Muslim students during Ramadan
2. Foster connection and faith development through shared worship, reflection, and cultural learning
