Mazal Tazazzo is an Ethiopian-Israeli mother, social worker, and architect who attended the NOVA Festival and endured a harrowing experience as she witnessed her friends being murdered beside her.
She was struck in the back of the head with a rifle and bound, intended to be taken as a hostage. Despite suffering severe head and hand injuries, she displayed remarkable bravery by faking her death to avoid captivity.
A Story of Courage and Diversity
Mazal Tazazo's story offers a powerful perspective as an Ethiopian-Israeli survivor of Hamas's October 7th massacre. By sharing her testimony, Mazal hopes to educate the international community about multiculturalism in Israel and the resiliency of the Israeli people. All conversation will be followed by Q&A.
