Mission The Duke Puppy Club (DPC) aims to empower students with the knowledge, community and support to successfully raise future service dogs for two service dog organizations: the Canine Companions Organization (National) and Eyes, Ears, Nose and Paws (Local) . These dogs will have a life-changing impact on those with physical, developmental, or auditory disabilities. These organizations commit to recruiting informed, committed, and prepared puppy raisers and spreading awareness about the potential of service animals to change lives. Several fundraising campaigns, puppy socialization events, and other volunteering opportunities will enable us to accomplish these goals and develop a strong community of puppy raisers and puppy sitters. This club will bring back the Duke favorite: the Puppy Kindergarten!
