Duke RESTORE Coral Reef restoration Miami trip

The Duke RESTORE Coral Reef Restoration Miami trip is a spring break field experience organized by Duke RESTORE’s Coral Team that gives students hands-on exposure to coral reef restoration work in the Miami area. Participants collaborate with practitioners—such as those from the Coral Restoration Foundation—to learn about coral nursery care, restoration techniques, and real-world conservation challenges, blending practical fieldwork with professional engagement in marine restoration. The group will also visit leaders in coral reef restoration projects. This includes visiting U Miami coral reef labs as well as MOTE Marine coral reef labs.
