Mission
The mission of the Seventh Day Adventist church is to lead people into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to continue as His disciple, to proclaim the everlasting gospel embraced by the three angels' messages (Revelation 14:6-12), and to prepare the world for Christ's soon return. The Duke SDA Student Association seeks to create a community for Seventh Day Adventist Students at Duke University and illustrate the characteristics of faith, love, and hope that Jesus Christ portrayed to the Duke community. The members of the Duke SDA Student Association will host Bible studies to learn more about the principles of the SDA doctrines and form bonds with SDA students in the research triangle region through connections and social events with Seventh Day Adventist churches in the area.
