Welcome to the Eno!

Hello and welcome to the Eno Magazine!

We're the student group at the Nic School creating opportunities to fuse creativity and environmental work.

We're excited to host several events for the fall semester where you can create some art - see details below and attached posters.

And we'd love it if you contribute any art you create to the Fall Zine that we're planning to release by Halloween! This will be small and informal magazine with the theme of transition. It will be full of cozy fall-themed art, witchy vibes, and the sound of dry leaves crunching underfoot (we're blowing our whole group budget on sound effects for the magazine - it will be killer). Please submit photos, poems, short stories, drawings, or any other art work here at this link!

Events:

Tuesday Sept 24^th - Paint and caffeinate! Drop in anytime between 10am-1:00pm to sit down with some coffee, bagels, and art supplies. Draw, paint, or write and take a breather from classes. See attached flyer!

Saturday Oct 4^th - Creative Writing Workshop: Future Natures. Whether you're a regular writer or would like to try creative writing for the first time, come out to this workshop on imagining what nature could look like in the future. We will go through some writing exercises, read some example pieces, talk about how we envision the future, and then spend most of the time writing our own pieces. Sign up for the event here!

Tentatively Oct 10^th - Poetry in the gardens! Come enjoy the beautiful fall foliage in Duke gardens and read some nature-themed poetry together. Bring your own or grab a journal to write your own!
