Family Park Adventure w/ GRADParents: Fun for the Whole Crew! 🧺🌳

Co-hosted by: GradParents, Graduate and Professional Student Services (GPSS), Off-Campus and Community Life (OCCL), and Duke International Student Center (DISC)

Calling all student parents, partners, and little ones! Join GPSS, OCCL, DISC, and GradParents for a relaxed, fun-filled morning at Whippoorwill Park. Whether you’re looking to meet other Duke families, let the kids burn off some weekend energy, or just enjoy a meal outdoors, this event is designed with your whole family in mind!

We’ll have plenty of delicious food and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages provided for everyone. Pack a picnic blanket, bring the family, and come enjoy a fantastic day in the park!
 

Park Amenities Include:

• 🛝 Playground & Swings – Play structures for ages 2–12, plus both standard and toddler bucket swings

• 🥾 Warren Creek Trail Access – Directly connected to the greenway for scenic family walks

• 🧺 Shaded Comfort – Covered picnic shelter, picnic tables, and park grills

• ♿ Fully Accessible – ADA accessible facilities, clean restrooms, and water fountains on site
