About Us
Our mission is to represent students with a Hong Kong background and welcome students interested in Hong Kong culture and affairs at Duke University, fostering a community that celebrates heritage, empowers identity, and promotes connection. We aim to champion the rich traditions and culture of Hong Kong, build an inclusive network of students who can support one another, and create a safe space for everyone to share their perspectives and lived experiences. Through organizing a range of events and educational initiatives, the HKSA aims to instill a deeper understanding and appreciation for Hong Kong’s culture and community, thereby contributing to the rich diversity characterizing our beloved Duke community.
