Duke Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is offering an opportunity for students to attend IEEE SoutheastCon 2025, the largest technical and professional conference in IEEE Region 3. This annual conference brings together students, researchers, and industry professionals in electrical and computer engineering to socialize, exchange ideas, showcase innovations, and compete in engineering challenges. It’s a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience, connect with experts, and represent Duke on a larger stage.
Competitions Available
SoutheastCon hosts a variety of student competitions where teams design, build, and present innovative solutions. Available competitions include:
Hardware (Autonomous Robotics) – Design and build a fully autonomous robot to complete a given task
Software – Solve challenging programming problems in a competitive setting (think game jam)
