Outing Club: How to pay dues + fun and flirty events this week

You **MUST** pay dues by 9/30

Sup, my dudes!! Outing Club is stoked to be back this semester. We've really enjoyed getting to know y'all at the Duke Gardens, Falls Lake, and the climbing wall at Wilson. And if you haven't made it to an event yet, welcome and we're excited to meet you!!

All Outing Club members will be **required** to pay $200 in dues by Thursday, Sep. 30 at 11:59. Pay here! That's just $200 for an entire YEAR of camping, backpacking, rafting/kayaking, rock climbing, trail running, stargazing, and MORE!! We'll be running 2-3 outdoorsy trips every week, so you'll have plenty of opportunities to get off campus and explore ~nature~ with the coolest Duke students! It's totally worth it. 

If you're coming on the Fall Break Trip (you know who you are!!), then you will use the same form to pay the base fee ($75) plus the costs of any additional activities you chose. That's also due Thursday, Sept. 30 at 11:59 pm.

We don't want finances to be a barrier for anyone to be part of Outing Club! So if you are unable (NOT unwilling) to pay dues, please reach out to Julianna (jer67@duke.edu) to discuss financial aid opportunities.

Duke greenhouse tour

The Duke greenhouse live plant collections consists of 800+ unique species of plants from all over the world. The greenhouse preserves many rare and endangered species. While you'll have the chance to see many plant species on our hikes with Outing Club, the Duke greenhouse provides an incredible opportunity to see a wide range of exotic plants on our own campus.

Over the course of the semester, we'll have three tours of the greenhouse, each with four students. The first tour will be 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, Thursday, Sept. 30. Sign up here!
