About Us

Sanford Women in Policy (SWP) is a graduate student organization at the Sanford School of Public Policy that provides a forum to discuss and address challenges and opportunities for women in the field of public policy. SWP also serves as a space to cultivate, empower, and promote unity and fellowship for those who identify as women and their allies. SWP creates opportunities for leadership, professional development, and dialogue for its members. We aim to do this by hosting discussions with speakers, networking events, skills workshops, and social events. SWP also serves as a space for students to discuss gender-related public policy issues.
