About Us
The Undergraduate Literature Society is a think tank and intellectual support group for establishing and maintaining an undergraduate literature journal housed under the Program in Literature. Our mission is to create a publication exemplifying creative and thoughtful writing about culture, literature, film, and the arts. The journal can be an opportunity for students to engage with cultural theories and contemporary artists/culture makers, to produce new work related to events, ideas, and people. It can also be a chance to publish work from classes, such as creative and/or journalistic writing, and academic writing including thesis chapters. Additionally, we plan to host regular social events with the ultimate goal of providing writing support, mentorship, and intellectual exploration for all group members.
