About Us

The mission of WIP is to provide opportunities for undergraduate female-identifying individuals interested in the field of politics. WIP seeks to accomplish this mission through speaker events, informal and formal mentorship, current events discussions, and political activism. WIP is also inclusive of those who are tangentially interested in politics but may enter a related line of work—law, other public sectors, journalism, etc. In other words, WIP is a politically-oriented club, but it is not individually exclusive to students who want to enter the line of politics.
