About Us
Duke Adaptive Explorers is a club dedicated to fostering inclusive outdoor experiences for members of the local community with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our goal is to create a supportive environment in which every person, regardless of their abilities, can enjoy the great outdoors and gain a deeper understanding of the natural environment. Through guided nature outings, adaptive equipment, and compassionate companionship, we strive to break down barriers, foster personal growth, and cultivate a sense of belonging and empowerment among participants.
