Community Pizza Night 2026

Join the Center for Muslim Life for a warm and lively Pizza Night. This gathering is designed to bring our first year students on East Campus together with upperclass students for an evening of connection, conversation, and community. We want our new students to meet familiar faces, build relationships, and feel supported as they continue settling into life at Duke.

This event is also meant to provide students an opportunity to engage with Duke Dining staff and learn about halal food options. This pizza night helps strengthen the sense of belonging for students and reflects the growing commitment to inclusive dining across campus.

The head chef from Marketplace will join us to answer questions about food preparation, concerns about halal processes, and anything students are curious about regarding dining on East Campus. It is a great opportunity to learn more, advocate for your needs, and build trust with dining leadership.

Objectives:1. To welcome new students and build community and belonging on East Campus by facilitating direct connections with upperclassmen and CML leadership.

2. To celebrate and affirm the institutional progress made in inclusive dining (halal pepperoni) and to build trust between Muslim students and Duke Dining through direct dialogue with the head chef.
