Re-Registration is Open!

Re-registration is now open and we wanted to provide you with information to streamline your re-registration.  

Constitution 

You will need to have an updated constitution.  Please ensure all of the following clauses are in your constitution. 

• Please add this language to at least one of the officer descriptions: "Maintains organization in good standing with Duke University via communications with UCAE (University Center Activities & Events) and/or other interested University entities." 

• Please add this non-discrimination clause to your constitution: [INSERT ORGANIZATION NAME/ABBREVIATION] adheres to the policy of non-discrimination and harassment as set forth in Duke’s Policy on Prohibited Discrimination, Harassment, and Related Misconduct. Discrimination and/or harassment based upon race, color, national origin, sex (including pregnancy), gender, gender identity, gender expression, sexual orientation, religion, genetic information, age, disability, or veteran status is prohibited. 

• Please add under membership “At least 50% + 1 of the members shall be undergraduate students” 

Student Event Management Officer 

Each organization is required to have a new officer position: Student Event Management Officer.  This position will receive direct communication from UCAE as it relates to events with the most up to date policy.  Organizations have most commonly selected their Vice Presidents to serve in this capacity as well.
*Note: Sport Clubs will not have a SEMO. 
 

Roster

You will need to use the attached roster when re-registering your group.  Only this excel file will be accepted.  Please do not upload screen shots or PDFs. 

Deadlines 

This year, we will have three deadlines for re-registration. 

• July 15 – Any organization who submits a completed and correct re-registration by this date will be entered into a drawing for a FREE CUSTOM PRINTED TABLE CLOTH.  

• August 15 – Any organization who wishes to patriciate in the activities fair (either virtually and/or in person) must submit a completed and correct re-registration by this date 

• September 15 – This is the final re-registration date. Any undergraduate organization who does not register by this date will be dechartered.  When an organization is de-chartered, they lose all access to funding (past and future), room reservations, event privileges, and DukeGroups.
