UndocuAlly Training for Duke Faculty and Staff

This training is open to Duke staff and faculty who want to learn more about the current landscape of higher education for undocumented students. In this interactive training facilitated by our partners at UndocuCarolina you will learn to:

- Deconstruct harmful narratives about undocumented communities in favor of immigrant-friendly language and framing.
- Become familiar with federal, state, and university law and policies that affect un(der)documented students and students from mixed-status families.
- Build understanding and empathy with those most closely impacted by restrictive immigration policies.
- Identify the resources available on campus and in the community for affected students.
