Dashain and Tihar are Nepal’s most celebrated festivals, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil and the renewal of family and community ties. Dashain honors Goddess Durga’s victory over evil forces through rituals, blessings, and reunions, while Tihar celebrates light, life, and prosperity by honoring animals, siblings, and Goddess Laxmi. Together, they unite families in joy, devotion, and cultural pride.
