🌱 Competitions & Opportunities

1. Forage has data job simulations and job courses to build your skills and get noticed by recruiters. Job simulation courses should take a few hours, during which you will complete a series of tasks guided by pre-recorded videos and example answers from teams at leading companies: no live sessions, all self-paced, no applications or experience required. Earn a certificate and add it to your resume and LinkedIn as an extracurricular activity!

2. Kaggle is hosting a competition about Natural Language Processing with Disaster Tweets! It is one of their getting-started competitions, designed for people with little to no machine learning background. In this event, competitors will predict which Tweets are about real disasters and which ones are not. This competition runs indefinitely, with a rolling leaderboard, and is a great way to get involved in Kaggle’s competitions!
