Bean Pie, Chai & Community Building

As salaamu alakium!
Thank you to everyone who joined us for an afternoon of games, delicious bean pies, and warming chai! The event was a wonderful success, filled with great conversation and a shared sense of purpose.

We are deeply grateful to Duke Alumni Ahmed Abualsuad of Barakah Tea for the delicious chai and to our community partner Min. Amon Muhammad for the iconic bean pies.

The day was a powerful example of building community across our entire network. We were thrilled to see students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and even VP Dawna Jones and members of the LILE DEIA Action Group come together.

The presentations on the CML's vision and path forward generated incredible momentum, especially around launching our new CML Parent Group.

Every attendee is an integral part of achieving our goals and establishing a lasting future for the Center for Muslim Life at Duke. Thank you for your energy and commitment.

Together, we are Building the Future of Muslim Life at Duke.
