Important Housing Application Reminder
A crucial deadline is coming up for next year's housing. The application portal opens on February 17th and closes February 20th at 12:00 PM. Be sure to plan with your roommates early to secure your preferred location.

Welcome Pizza Night on East! Meet First Years fellow over the new halal pepperoni pizza. A chance to build community and chat directly with Marketplace's head chef. All are welcome!

Duke’s Mellon Mays Undergraduate Fellowship (MMUF)
Invites applications for a student-led, faculty-mentored research program, starting on January 16 (through February 16). 

Current sophomores and juniors who are (a) majoring in humanities and some social science disciplines, (b) interested in research, and (c) are considering earning a doctoral degree should apply.  You can learn more about the program, eligibility, and short and long-term benefits from the OUSF website as well as this information sheet.

MMUF has commitment to elevating knowledge that informs a more complete and accurate narratives of the human experience and lays the foundation for more just and equitable futures. The Mellon Foundation invites applicants who seek to amplify perspectives and contributions that have been marginalized within the conventional scholarly record and that promote the realization of a more socially just world. 

Information sessions will occur on Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 14, from 5pm-6pm in Brodhead 216 for students who want to learn more. Interested students can sign up here, or let us know if they can't make it but want more info.
