Be The Light: MLK Reflections & Upcoming Career Workshop

As salaamu alakium,

This week, as the campus reflects on the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., we are reminded of his profound words: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that."

Let us reflect on this call to action, and on the message from the CML Director and Chaplain, Dr. Joshua Salaam:
Legacy of Dr King
As a community, let's continue to carry forward Dr. King's legacy of justice and compassion by being that light in our daily lives and interactions.

Recap:  Welcome Pizza Night
Thank you to everyone who made our Welcome Pizza Night a vibrant success! A special thanks to Head Chef Mark Mishalanie and Duke Dining for their partnership in providing the first halal pepperoni pizza on East Campus. It was beautiful to see our first-year students connecting with upperclassmen and our entire community gathering over good food and even better company. This milestone is a testament to our collective voice and belonging
