Alhamdulilah... Semester Complete! Congratulations & A Look Ahead

As salaamu alaikum,

Congratulations! To our First Years, you’ve successfully navigated your first semester at Duke. To our upperclassmen, you’ve added another accomplished chapter to your journey. The CML is proud of all you have achieved together this fall.

As exams conclude and you head home or elsewhere for winter break, we pray for your safe travels, restful time with loved ones, and success in your courses. We extend our deepest thanks to our incredible CML Interns, Ambassadors, and Staff for a vibrant semester.

As the CML office will be closed during the university's winter break, we will not be hosting our weekly Jumu'ah prayer service. For those remaining in the area, here is a list of local masjids hosting Jumu'ah:

This is more than just pizza—it's a warm gathering to connect first-year and upperclass students and to celebrate a milestone: Marketplace is now serving halal pepperoni pizza! The head chef will join us to answer your questions about halal processes and campus dining. Come enjoy a slice, build community, and be part of this positive change.
