About Us
The American Lung Cancer Screening Initiative (ALCSI) is a non-profit organization that is composed of a team of over 70 doctors and students working to increase awareness of lung cancer and lung cancer screening in communities across the country. Our mission is to improve the rate of lung cancer screenings for high-risk patients and reduce the rate of lung cancer through outreach efforts. By working with cities, local and national governments, and other organizations, ALCSI raises awareness for lung cancer and lung cancer screening. High-risk individuals can significantly benefit from lung cancer screening, and ALCSI focuses on promoting screening in this population to save lives.
