We provide Duke graduate students in the Master in Interdisciplinary Data Science (MIDS) program and those in other disciplines who are passionate about data engineering with a platform and community to build portfolio data engineering projects.
Our goal is to empower students to use the full power of cloud computing and hosting services. Our comprehensive curriculum spans across cloud computing, AI, business analytics, and data engineering through hands-on exploration of major cloud services, including AWS, Azure, and GCP. We aim to showcase their diverse use cases and business value by providing practical experience in project development within these environments. We intend to help students cultivate both technical prowess and business acumen in this domain. Moreover, we facilitate learning by offering our members complimentary AWS, Azure, and GCP credits, further fostering research and project endeavors on these platforms.
