About Us

The Music Graduate Student Association (MGSA) is the representative body of all graduate students in the Music Department at Duke University. The purpose of the MGSA is to represent and advocate for the graduate students in the Duke Music Department; to serve as a liaison between music graduate students and music department administration and faculty; to develop programming that directly benefits music graduate students in professional, academic, and creative capacities; and to foster community and camaraderie within the department and across disciplines.
