The New Neighbors Project aims to forge meaningful connections between local newcomer families—refugees, immigrants, and others—and the Duke community. Through the program, each Duke student is paired with a newcomer child to cultivate strong relationships and promote college readiness through personalized, one-on-one weekly sessions.
