Mission
SSA at Duke fosters a welcoming community for secular, nonreligious, atheist, agnostic, questioning, ex-religious, and religiously diverse students. The Organization promotes separation of church and state, critical inquiry, evidence-based dialogue, secular values, humanism, ethics, human rights, and freedom of conscience. SSA at Duke is affiliated with the national Secular Student Alliance, providing access to resources, speakers, training, and organizational support.
