The Duke History Union (DHU) strives to support those interested in history, politics, and/or the humanities by creating a harmonious balance between academic enrichment, professional growth, and community bonding. More specifically, through the comprehensive implementation of initiatives within the DHU's central pillars of Scholarship, Professional Development, and Community, the DHU aims to enhance the historical learning experience, prepare students for future endeavors, and instill a sense of unity and belonging among its members.
